BRENTWOOD, TN. - With an ever growing number of real estate transactions involving bank owned properties and homes on the verge of foreclosure? buyers, sellers and the Realtors who represent them are jumping through hoops like never before.
The recently extended homebuyer tax credit deadline is evidence of this. In response to concerns that buyers and sellers needed more time to hammer out the details of financing, inspection, appraisal and other property sale requirements - congress voted to add another three months to the original deadline.
"You have to be a specialist at dealing with properties now that more often than not are either owned outright by the bank or the bank is negotiating because the homeowner has fallen behind on the mortgage," said Susan Diebolt, a Broker with Crye-Leike, REALTORS in Brentwood. "In these distressful times you have to work twice as hard to ensure your clients are being treated fairly."
BRENTWOOD, TN., - While he may still consider himself a newcomer to real estate sales, Don McConnell is behaving more like a veteran. He's become a student of the industry - striving to advance himself and his clients through education.

"By sharpening my skills, I can better serve my clients in buying or selling their home while minimizing the impact on them."
McConnell has been assisting clients as a licensed Realtor for the past three years - arguably in the midst of one of the most challenging economies and real estate markets in modern history.
With a ?can do' attitude - the former Healthways Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer is advancing on a steep learning curve.

"I enjoy people," said Victoria. "My God given talent is being a caregiver and it is my passion in life. I enjoy working in ministry, teaching, training, learning, writing and nature. Nothing like being out and enjoying the wonderful world God has created for us."
The passion that propelled Victoria into real estate sales first helped cultivate her desire to serve as a children's pastor and work in the nursing profession. She strives to find and implement a solution to a problem quickly before it gets to big.
"My goal in real estate is to work with people and assist them in making a smooth transaction," said Victoria. "I use my experience and people skills to help create a wi...
