Cumming, GA: "Bingo!" Was the theme for the Crye-Leike Cumming office, located at 5940 Bethelview Road, as they teamed up with the Fountain United Methodist Church to support the Holly Park Ministry by hosting a special Bingo game day for local families in need. On Saturday, February 24th, the real estate office opened their doors to the Holly Park mobile home community for a fun-filled, kid friendly event.

Over 40 children and their parents showed up to participate. They were treated to rounds of Bingo and prizes, nacho bar and Girl Scout cookies, and a local artist donated their time to paint and decorate rocks with all of the children. Nine volunteers participated in the event at the Crye-Leike office, to include Crye-Leike's Janice Chatham and Amy Ridgway.

Welcome back to   Crye-Leike Insights! Each week, we share tips, stories, and wisdom from our Crye-Leike family. This week,  Helen Dansker  from Crye-Leike Bella Vista, AR shares her 3 tips for getting your home ready for the market!

 



 

Curb Appeal



  • Clean front door.

  • Put out flowers or plants.

  • Spruce up patio furniture.

  • Lay out a welcome mat or rug.


 

Decluttering



  • Buyer must be able to image your house as their own.

  • Take down pictures and collectibles.

  • If you don't use it everyday, put it away.

  • Counters and floors cleared.

  • Clean out closets, cabinets, and refrigerators.

  • Pack everything up in boxes and put in garage or storage unit.


 

Inspection



  • Look at outside and inside of house with a pad of paper and write down everything the buyers will look at.

  • Make a list of everything that needs to be cleaned or fixed.

  • Consider hiring a home inspector to do a pre-listing inspection.

  • Replace outlets with GFCI.
