Brentwood, Tenn. - Crye-Leike, Realtors is expanding its branch offices into Bellevue to meet the exploding neighborhood growth in Cheatham and Dickson counties, reports Harold E. Crye, chief executive officer of Crye-Leike, Inc.

A 9,400 square foot commercial building at 224 Old Hickory Blvd. has been purchased by Crye to accommodate a new Bellevue branch location for Crye-Leike, Realtors. The property was owned by Belle Forest Associates I, LLC in Nashville and sold for $710,000, $75 a square foot, on June 30, 2000. Bellevue, a part of the greater metropolitan Nashville area, is a community located on the west side of Davidson County and Interstate 40.

The Bellevue office will be the first of several expansion offices Crye-Leike plans to open to the west of Nashville, says Tom Kimbrough, vice president and general manager of Crye-Leike of Nashville, Inc.

Memphis, Tenn. - Janice M. Harbor of Germantown, president and director of Crye-Leike Relocation Services' Midsouth Division, was awarded the accredited buyer representation (ABR) designation by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council, Inc. (REBAC) of the National Association of Realtors.

Harbor joins more than 18,000 real estate professionals in North America who have earned the ABR designation. The requirements for this coveted designation include a comprehensive two-day course in buyer representation, a written examination on legal and practical aspects of client representation and practical experience in the field of buyer representation.

Brentwood, Tenn. - A high compliment was recently extended to Crye-Leike, Realtors. One of its veteran sales associates recently took his real estate business to an ownership level by purchasing a Crye-Leike franchise, Crye-Leike's first in Tennessee.

Jerry Argo, a Crye-Leike sales associate in Franklin, Tenn. for eight years, and Greg Maloof, owner and managing broker of Plateau Realty, Inc. in Monteagle, Tenn., have acquired a Crye-Leike franchise for Monteagle, Tenn. Combined, they have over 60 years of real estate experience.

The new franchise affiliate is named Crye*Leike 1st Realty, which is currently located at 123 West College Street in Monteagle. Monteagle is located halfway between Murfreesboro and Chattanooga, approximately 45 miles each way.

Brentwood, Tenn. - The recent purchase of 3.83 acres of land in northern Williamson County, Tenn. by Harold E. Crye, chief executive officer of Crye-Leike, Realtors, confirms Crye-Leike's intentions to open a branch office in Cool Springs, one of the fastest growing areas in the southeast.

Cool Springs, a community located off of Interstate 65, south of Nashville, combines class A office space with retail development and some upscale homes and apartments.

Crye is planning the construction of two separate single-story commercial buildings on the purchased property, each approximately 15,000 square feet with some leasing to third parties.

The land was sold to Crye on June 30, 2000 for $1.13 million, $6.75 per square foot, by Smith Crowe Wilson, LLC, land and retail developers of Brentwood.
