Brentwood, Tenn. - Keith Crowe of Nashville has been named director of business brokerage for Crye-Leike Commercial, the eighth largest commercial real estate brokerage firm in Nashville, to oversee the company's newly established business brokerage division.

The division will offer a full range of business brokerage services, including consulting; investment and income property brokerage; merger & acquisition; sale & acquisition of operating businesses; site selection & acquisition; and, tenant representation.

Crowe says that his division will focus its efforts on the professional representation of sellers of closely held businesses and serve as a resource for buyers.

Nashville, Tennessee - Mimi Sulfridge of Crye-Leike, Realtors has been named an accredited buyer representative (ABR) by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors.

This distinction is signified by the ABR designation, the benchmark of excellence in real estate buyer representation.

Displaying her ABR designation demonstrates to clients that Sulfridge has taken additional steps to continue her education in the field of buyer representation, and has the proven experience and training to deliver ethical and professional services to real estate buyers.

Among Crye-Leike's 2,800 sales force, Sulfridge is among a select few who has achieved this distinction. There are over 250 Crye-Leike sales associates who hold the ABR designation, with over 1,700 active ABR members in Tennessee. Collectively, there are more than 30,000 real estate professionals in North America who have earned the ABR designation.

Memphis, Tenn. - Crye*Leike Franchises, Inc., the franchisor of Crye-Leike, Realtors, the nation's 10th largest real estate company, has recently signed a franchise agreement in Batesville, Arkansas, joining 18 other franchises among Crye-Leike's  franchise system.

The newest Crye-Leike franchise, Crye*Leike Batesville Real Estate Center, Inc., is located at 505 St. Louis Street in Batesville, Ark., Independence County. The franchise is owned by Jerry Kemp who will serve as principal broker.

Joining his sales team are Lackey Moody and James Schoonover who will serve the real estate needs of buyers and sellers of residential and commercial properties in Independence, Cleburn, Jackson, Izard, Sharp, Stone and White counties. They will specialize in relocation and vacation homes.

A grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony were held by the Batesville Chamber of Commerce on Thurs., May 27, 2004.

Little Rock, Ark. - Crye-Leike, Realtors' North Little Rock branch office is now in a better position to serve Pulaski County with its recent move into a new $2 million state of the art facility, announced David Goldstein, managing broker and sales manager of Crye-Leike's North Little Rock branch office.

The office moved its current sales force of 27 sales associates in May 2004 into a new company-owned business park, located at 3400 John F. Kennedy Blvd., on the most popular corridor that enters North Little Rock.

A grand opening of Crye-Leike's new North Little Rock branch office was held on Fri., June 4, 2004. A ribbon cutting ceremony was conducted by representatives from the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce.

Pickwick Dam, Tenn. - Marti Carsten, owner and managing broker of Crye*Leike Pickwick Lake was awarded the Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI) designation by the Tennessee Association of Realtors, under the auspices of the National Association of Realtors.

The GRI designation is a national professional designation that signifies mastery in the various aspects of residential brokerage.

Through the Realtor Institute program, Carsten studied marketing, ethics, contracts, finance, technology and other real estate topics. Completion of the GRI program has provided Carsten with the skills needed to render greater and broader services to the public and to prospective clients. Successful graduation from the GRI program in Tennessee requires successful completion of at least 90 hours of course work and five written examinations on various aspects of the courses taken.
