Understand insurance policy, be persistent to get what you want

 

Peristence coupled with the help of his doctors and careful documentation helped Crye-Leike's Jimmy D. Dugger get his insurance company to pay for his weight-loss surgery

 

Jimmy D. Dugger thought weight-loss surgery would help protect him from potentially debilitating knee and ankle problems, life-threatening heart problems and diabetes, and four doctors thought so, too.

 

When his insurance company refused to foot the bill, he didn't take no for answer. He fought back ? and won.

 

''If I have letters from four doctors ? four MDs ? telling me that I should have this surgery and that I qualify, then why shouldn't I have the surgery?'' asks Dugger, vice president of Crye-Leike Realtors.

Nashville, Tenn. - Crye-Leike, Realtors announces that Woody McClendon has joined the company's management internship program as an assistant sales manager trainee.

McClendon, a resident of Green Hills, came to Crye-Leike from ERA Cornerstone Realty as a sales associate. Prior to selling real estate, he was in insurance sales.

Crye-Leike's management internship program provides candidates with extensive on-the-job training and expertise in all facets of residential and commercial real estate management, including concentrations in marketing, relocation, real estate sales, property management and information technology. The program prepares candidates for broker and management positions within Crye-Leike.

McClendon's current management internship is working within Crye-Leike REO as REO homes specialist, specializing in the listing and selling of bank-owned residential properties in Davidson County as well as within the surrounding counties of Cheat...

Memphis, Tenn. - The Bartlett branch office of Crye-Leike, Realtors recently presented a $1,535 check to the Memphis Family Shelter from a BBQ dinner fundraiser held on Fri., June 18, 2004.

Crye-Leike sales associates served over 90 dinners. Sponsors included Lowe's, 1st Trust Bank for Savings, Realty Title & Escrow, Co., Inc., AHS Home Warranties, Steve Anderson of AmeriSpec and Crye-Leike Home Services.

Committee members for the Crye-Leike fundraiser were: Larry Cagle, Cyndi Craft, Ray Duke, Kim Hairrell, Jan O'Grady and Lorraine Williams, all of Crye-Leike's Bartlett branch office.

The Memphis Family Shelter is a non-profit, charitable organization that was founded in 1992 to serve women and children of the Mid-South who are experiencing a major crisis in their lives. The shelter provides clean, secure accommodations in a home-like setting to help them achieve independent living.
