OOLTEWAH, TN., - Returning to profitability has remained one of the great challenges the past two years for the owners and managers at Crye-Leike, REALTORS. As signs of improving housing market conditions appear at the start of 2010 in Greater Chattanooga, the company is putting a familiar face in charge of managing what it hopes to be a year where profits begin to emerge once again.

"I feel honored to have been selected by our cofounder & CEO Harold Crye to lead such a wonderful operation," said Dan Griess, Crye-Leike's NEW Regional General Manager. "As we emerge from what has proven to be a tough couple of years for the real estate industry, I see our associates well positioned to assist buyers and sellers as property values begin to stabilize and options for buyers are the best they've been in years."

HENDERSONVILLE, TN., - In business as well as in your personal life, there's a belief held by many that to build trust and succeed you should begin by always making a great first impression. In the business of real estate sales - many Realtors say that frame of mind is now more important than ever.

"The softening real estate market is putting great demands on Realtors to bring sellers a profit in the sale of their home," said Julie Gant, a Realtor with Crye-Leike, REALTORS in Hendersonville. "That being said, you can't just assume you will have all the knowledge to make that happen, which is why I and several of my colleagues looked to advance our home sales know-how."

Gant, along with Crye-Leike Realtors Sharon Morelli, Marion Roeger and Faye Sesler joined together to take a specialized course in home staging to receive the ASP Home Stagi...

MEMPHIS, TN., - More and more real estate sales involve buyers and sellers dealing with properties heading for foreclosure or already foreclosed on by the bank. In response, licensed Realtors like Crye-Leike Broker Fosta Brown feel more compelled than ever to ?change their approach' to real estate to meet the demands of the current new ?traditional' real estate market.

"I have practiced real estate for nearly 27 years and during that time I've seen a lot of changes both positive and negative," said Brown. "The most negative change has been the recent wave of foreclosures and loss of equity in quite a few markets. Even though rates remain low there's still the problem of adjustable rates coupled with high unemployment causing a record number of foreclosures."

Crye-Leike, REALTORS Memphis Broker Fosta Brown recently completed a new Short Sale & Foreclosure course offered by the National Association of Realtors (NAR). She now feels...
