FRANKLIN, TN., - After working with real estate buyers and sellers for the last three years, Franklin Realtor Scott Kelley knows the importance of keeping his education and knowledge of the market up-to-date.

"It's important in today's market that we as agents continue our education and earn designations in order to help our clients navigate through this challenging housing market," said Crye-Leike Realtor Scott Kelley. "It is our responsibility to have as much knowledge as possible to share with our clients so they can make the decisions that's best for them."

In order to better assist his clients, Scott completed training to earn his professional real estate designation as an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR). The designation is awarded to agents who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria.

To obtain the ABR designation Scott successfully completed a comprehensive cours...

FAIRVIEW, TN., - As more and more real estate sales involve buyers and sellers dealing with properties heading for foreclosure or already foreclosed on by the bank - many licensed Realtors have been forced to ?change their game' and approach in order to adapt to this new ?traditional' real estate transaction.

Crye-Leike, REALTORS Fairview Agent Teresa Lampley recently completed a new Short Sale & Foreclosure course being offered by the National Association of Realtors (NAR). She now feels better equipped with both the tools and ?know how' to help sellers maneuver and negotiate the complexities of short sales as well as help buyers pursue short sale and foreclosure opportunities.

"I sought to achieve this designation in order to better serve those clients who are currently upside down in their homes and wanting to sell," said Lampley.  "Often times people want to get out from under a mortgage that has become too difficult to man...

MEMPHIS, TN., - Accounting Departments in Memphis do the usual business of keeping track of revenue and expenses - cutting payroll checks and keeping an eye towards saving money along the way. The Accounting Department at Crye-Leike, REALTORS Corporate Headquarters does all of that too - and then some.

What makes the accounting team at the city's largest real estate firm special - and one Manager in particular - is a level of generosity that's become contagious.

Inside the Crye-Leike Quail Hollow office Accounting Manager Lynda Drake has gained a reputation as a ?money cruncher' determined to make the holidays brighter each year for the children in the care of Youth Villages. You could describe Drake as the Mrs. Claus of Crye-Leike.

"I would hardly consider myself a Mrs. Claus," said Drake.  "It is true most every...

COOKEVILLE, TN., - With more than three decades of experience in business ownership and real estate sales, Broker Ruby Baker has worked through many challenging business climates over the past 30 years.  The challenge it seems is clearly what attracts her to the opportunity to take the helm of Crye-Leike Cookeville - during one of the toughest real estate and home sales markets in history.

"I was recently looking closely at opening my own office when I got a call from someone at Crye-Leike who asked me to sit down and take a look at what the company had to offer," said Ruby.  "I spent some time evaluating all they do to support agents and I was very impressed - especially with the corporate structure and technology."

Before joining Crye-leike, Ruby was a Realtor with Century 21 in Sparta.  Now as the new Managing Broker she's actively reaching out - primarily to newly licensed agents - with the opportunity for them to receive...
