ROGERS, AR., - Even as a little girl, Virginia Blackford enjoyed looking at houses. She remembers visiting construction sites to check out how the homes were being built and to study their architecture - a childhood pastime that led her into a successful career as a real estate agent.
For two years, Virginia has been a licensed Realtor in Arkansas enjoying helping people with all their real estate needs. She started out as a new agent with Charles Burt Realty and recently transferred her license to Crye-Leike, REALTORS.

The $8,000 tax credit that's helped thousands of Arkansans move into their first home expires November 30th, but there are several bills on the table to extend the credit through the middle of next year.
More than $1.4-million taxpayers across the United States have benefited from the tax credit so far. Today's THV spoke with professionals on both sides who gave us insight into the pros and cons of extending the tax credit.
