Crye-Leike, REALTORS Names Affiliate Broker Sharon Wayman As Its 2009 United Way Office Captain For The Crye-Leike Green Hills Branch In Nashville
NASHVILLE, TN., - Crye-Leike, REALTORS is pleased to name Affiliate Broker Sharon Wayman as its 2009 United Way Office Captain for the Crye-Leike Green Hills Branch. The real estate sales center is located at 3815 Cleghorn Avenue in Nashville.
Sharon's calling to real estate and passion to inspire and help others realize their hopes and dreams came after a tragic event in her personal life.
"I got into real estate after the death of my daughter who was murdered in a home invasion," said Sharon. "I am blessed to have three grandsons who I hope to help send to college. Real Estate gives me the opportunity to help others and provide an income for my family."
Sharon will lead her fellow Crye-Leike Green Hills agents in fundraising during the 2009 United Way campaign. Her objective is to raise money via direct donations and pledges.

On Tuesday, the Memphis Area Association of Realtors released its sales report for June, which showed an 18.5 percent decrease in sales when compared to June 2008.
On Wednesday, about two dozen new real estate agents gathered at MAAR's offices on Poplar for an orientation.
Logical question: Why would anyone get into the real estate business now?
"I always think it's good to get into things at the downturn, so you're positioned when things come back," said Casey Moore, 39, who works for Banyan Tree Realtors in Collierville, and who is also a pilot.
