BENTONVILLE, AR., - Crye-Leike, REALTORS congratulates Bentonville, Arkansas Managing Broker Cassie Elliott on receiving the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by the CCIM Institute, one of the leading commercial real estate associations in the world.

 

Cassie was among a group of commercial real estate professionals who earned the designation by passing the Institute's Comprehensive Examination, the final element of the designation process.  She was awarded the designation October 16, 2008 during the Institute meetings in Chicago, Illinois.

 

"Obtaining the CCIM designation has been a goal of mine for several years," said Cassie.  "The graduate level curriculum makes me uniquely qualified to assist clients with a level of expertise in every type of real estate purchase be it commercial or residential."

Crye-Leike Inc. will not build a new office in Huntsville, Ala., due to market conditions.

 

Instead, the Memphis-based real estate firm is putting a 2.3-acre site ? which currently houses a restaurant ? on the block.

 

"Given the market, it doesn't make sense to bulldoze this restaurant," said Crye-Leike spokesman Mike Machak. "We might sell it. If we can't, then, when the market turns we'll build as planned."

 

In contrast, the firm is moving forward with the rehabilitation of the former Anderton's Restaurant on Madison. The nearly 12,500-square-foot space will serve the Midtown market, replacing its Union office.

SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, TN.- Crye-Leike, REALTORS is pleased to recognize its award winning chili cooks on Signal Mountain.  The agents were recently honored with the People's Choice Award at the Bachman Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser.  The event was held Saturday November 8, 2008.

 

The People's Choice Award was based on votes by the public and carried with it a $100 cash prize.  Judges also awarded 1st & 2nd place honors to the top two traditional and non-traditional chilis.

 

"We are so thrilled with the People's Choice Award," said Dot Heggie, Managing Broker of Crye-Leike Signal Mountain.  "It's great to win, but more importantly, we're so grateful for the support of this community and the opportunity to give back."
