Two new office buildings are going up in growing corridors of Hamilton County.
Crye-Leike Realtors is shifting its Hixson branch to a site off state Highway 153 just north of Oak Park Town Center near Grubb Road.
A 13,290-square-foot building is under construction for the real estate company and two other firms, said John Straussberger, owner of The Strauss Company Inc., which is the contractor for the office project.
Also, the company is building a 9,000-square-foot office structure for Dr. Thomas R. Cook III, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, on Morrison Springs Road.
Rachel Millard, Dr. Cook's practice manager, said the building is expected to be ready for patients in February.
"He wanted to find an area ready for growth and wanted to get in on the ground floor," she said about the site across from Erlanger North hospital.
