MADISON, AL., - Few of us really know from an early age what career path or professional life we will follow. Most people these days work in a variety of different jobs and industries before finding the right fit.

It seems Huntsville's Cindy Henson Allen was one of those few exceptions who had it all figured out from the very start.

"I earned my real estate license at the age of 19 to become the youngest Realtor in Huntsville in 1977," said Cindy. "Two years later I became licensed as Broker and became a co-owner of my parent's company, Henson Realty and Construction."

Cindy was definitely inspired by her Mother and Father to pursue a career in real estate. After they retired from the business in 1999, Cindy became the Qualified Broker and owner of the company.

Today, more than three decades later, and still hustling like it's her first day on the job, Cindy is recognized...

BELLA VISTA, AR., - Realtors work with buyers and sellers in the community everyday - and it's no surprise that many agents take time out of their schedules on several occasions during the year to give back to those same communities.

Crye-Leike Realtors in Bella Vista are planning to give back to their community by hosting a blood drive for the American Red Cross. The Realtors want to give the gift of life in memory of their friend and Managing Broker Dave Mishler who recently passed away.

"I know Dave would be very proud," said Crye-Leike Office Administrator Kathryn Weldon. "Every since he became the Managing Broker of our office, he always wanted to do some kind of event here to give back to the community, but he just ran out of time."

Crye-Leike's "Dave Mishler Memorial Blood Drive" will be held on Friday, September 24th at the Bella Vista sales office located at 3463 Bella Vista Way.

The typical real estate purchase involves a pile of paperwork that's frequently faxed and often shared between parties as faded and hard to read documentation. In almost every case it's Realtors facilitating this shuffle ?back and forth' of contract changes and files between buyers and sellers, lenders, closing agents and others involved in the transaction.

At Crye-Leike, REALTORS - the nation's 6th largest real estate firm - the days of faxing and sharing the mountains of paper files are fast becoming a thing of the past. The company has spent months ramping up and testing a new online transaction management system called TransactionPoint. Very soon, every person directly involved in a Crye-Leike real estate sale will be offered ?online access' to view files, contracts, mortgage documents, inspection reports and more from anywhere at anytime.

"This is a revolutionary step for us," said Harold Crye, Cofounder & CEO of Crye-Leike...

SMYRNA, TN., - It's a well known fact that when we work together toward a goal as a team we can accomplish much more than going at a task individually. Smyrna Realtor Heather Karl knows that from both her experience in the business of home sales and community service.

Heather is taking the ?team approach' to heart during the month of September as the United Way Campaign Team Captain at the Crye-Leike Smyrna sales center.

"Since the first year I volunteered as a United Way Team Captain I have been consistently amazed by how far the agency reached and what services it offers right here in our community," said Heather. "I had the opportunity to visit some of the community centers United Way donations support and learned that children in those centers sometimes have their only daily nutrition provided in one meal or snack during their stay. The need is very real."

Heather carries on a long-standing relat...
