NICKY ROBERTSHAW HITCHING | Special to The Daily News

It's likely you've never met her, but you know who she is: The powerhouse real estate agent with the blonde helmet hairstyle and cell phone glued to her ear. After all, Judy McLellan's image has been a fixture at bus stops, in advertising and on billboards for years.

While the no-swing hairdo might be a style throwback, McLellan's commitment to using the latest communication tools is strictly modern. She has embraced Facebook and Twitter to connect with the younger generation to promote her business, and is constantly looking for the next thing.

"When I heard about Twitter, I said, ?I don't really understand it, but I want to do it,'" McLellan recalled. "It is so important to reach the next generation of homebuyers, and that's where they are."

JONATHAN DEVIN | Special to The Daily News

Reading the recovery of the commercial real estate market in the last year has been like picking a horse at the races with largely unknown odds, but Mack Browder is putting his money on an old favorite to pull through in the end.

"The industrial market in Memphis has continued to improve," said Browder, an affiliate broker with Crye-Leike commercial division. "They just announced the lease of about an 800,000 square foot building down on Lamar called the Summit Distribution Center #2. "There's a continuing uptick in activity of people wanting more space," Browder said. "We're feeling real good about the industrial market being in balance here in town."

The expansion lease by Technicolor created about 150 jobs, something market analysts in any major city would be glad to h...

CONWAY, AR., - Helping people buy and sell homes across Central Arkansas is a true calling for Bill and Janet Tobias. With Crye-Leike, REALTORS in Conway the husband and wife team is dedicated to helping people of all walks with a desire to have their own place to call home.

Six years ago Bill and Janet took their real estate passion and desire to serve others to the Faulkner County Habitat for Humanity organization, which is dedicated to building quality homes for individuals and families. For two years Bill has served as the organization's President.

"Habitat has been important to me in helping others and giving back to the community," said Bill Tobias of Crye-Leike Conway. "Although fundraising and administration have been important areas I have worked on, I most enjoy new home groundbreakings and dedications."

Bill and Janet's involvement was recently recognized as they were selected as the 2009...

BELLA VISTA, AR., - With a three decade long career of teaching and coaching students to always be their best, it seems Bella Vista Realtor Art Brunje is taking a cue from his own lesson plan and playbook.  The Wisconsin Football Coaches and University of Wisconsin - Superior Hall of Famer is clearly eager to stay at the top of his game in real estate sales.

"I spent much of my life in the ?non technology' era and not being a consistent user of the net," said Art. "I had limited knowledge of all the net has to offer as far as a source of up to date information for both my clients and me as an agent and the vast communication possibilities available to me."

So Art went back to the classroom. He enrolled in and completed the National Association of Realtors (NAR) course offering known in the industry as the e-PRO.  The course is designed to help Realtors make the most of Internet technology and to identify, evaluate and implemen...

FAYETTEVILLE, AR., - Having successfully raised three grown children and now getting to enjoy the company of two grandchildren, Fayetteville's Sam Hutcheson has always enjoyed a family atmosphere.  At home and in business - it's important for him to feel at home - with both family and colleagues who support each other through good times and tough times too.

Now after more than 16 years of selling real estate, Hutcheson is changing families professionally as he has recently joined Crye-Leike, REALTORS in Northwest Arkansas.

"My decision to change companies was made for me when the company I had been with for over 14 years merged with a large franchise operation," said Hutcheson. "I joined my previous company back when I first moved to Northwest Arkansas because it had just opened a small office that I liked - and only had two agents and the Broker. It ultimately grew to more than 50 agents."

Hutcheso...
