The clock is ticking down on the government's $8,000 tax credit for first-time homebuyers as the credit expires November 30. First-time homebuyers and anyone who hasn't owned a home in three years have less than 90 days to search for and close on a home before the opportunity to receive the $8,000 credit ends.

BRYANT, AR., During the annual ?Month of September' United Way campaign season - special events and activities are often seen as the trademark approach to generating the most donations. That may be true in many cases - but not all.
"I did not have an event, I just talked to people around the office and set a goal of $55 as the minimum donation per person," said Jeremiah Oltmans, a Realtor with Crye-Leike Bryant.
