Local Home Sales On Rise - 40/29 TV Northwest, Arkansas, USA

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- For almost half a year, home sales have been on the rise.
Realtors tell 40/29 News they're the busiest they've been in years.
Realtors said neighborhoods in northwest Arkansas, specifically in the Fayetteville area, are hot spots in the housing market right now.
Some homes have even been sold just days after they were put on the market.
"This home we actually sold before it even got put on the MLS, which is the Multiple Listing Service," said LaVeta Key, managing broker for Crye-Leike.
That home on Tradition Avenue, and others in the area, were up for grabs, but not for long.

Crye-Leike, REALTORS Starwood Agents Encourage The Public To Donate Household Goods & Non-Perishable Food Items To Its Second Harvest Fundraiser
NASHVILLE, TN., - Agents at Crye-Leike, REALTORS Starwood office are encouraging folks in the community to de-clutter their apartments, homes and offices and donate unwanted new and slightly worn items to its garage sale fundraiser for Second Harvest Food Bank.
The office is also accepting monetary donations and non-perishable food items to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank. All proceeds from the garage sale will be donated to Second Harvest.
"Since opening our new Starwood office, we have been dedicated to finding a very meaningful cause in order to give back to the community," said Affiliate Broker/Office Administrator Wanda Batson. "We discovered there was a dire need in the community to help feed the hungry of Davidson and Rutherford Counties and we went to work immediately on a fundraiser for Second Harvest Food Bank."

Crye-Leike, REALTORS Athens, Tennessee Agents Help "Stuff The Bus"
On Tuesday, August 4, 2009 every Crye-Leike Athens agent came to the regular weekly sales meeting with one or two school supplies to help "Stuff the Bus" for the local schools. Items donated included: ruled paper, dry erase markers, glue sticks, pencils, "Crayola" brand crayons, plain copy paper, baby wipes and hand sanitizer.
