NASHVILLE, TN., - When new home sales slowed in late 2007, Builder Michael Sullivan reacted and slowed his construction pace too.  His calculations resulted in far less un-sold inventory than some of his competitors.  Today Michael Sullivan has not only weathered the construction downturn personally but he wasn't forced to slash prices and simultaneously helped to preserve home values.

 

"It was a tricky call on my part when to slow things down based on market conditions and the drop in new home sales," said Michael Sullivan.  "As a result in the Apple Valley community which I developed and was the primary builder - I didn't have a lot of unsold homes and wasn't forced to discount my prices hurting the families that purchased from me when the market was up."

NASHVILLE, TN., - Agents and employees at Crye-Leike, REALTORS Starwood office extend a special thanks to the community for helping their parking lot garage sale fundraiser for Second Harvest Food Bank be a great success.

 

The garage sale held on Saturday, August 15th brought in $776 and 3 huge boxes of non-perishable food items to benefit Second Harvest. The public helped the Crye-Leike Starwood office's fundraiser by donating garage sale items, donating non-perishable foods and by purchasing garage sale items.

CUMMING, GA., Every 2nd Thursday of the month Greater Atlanta Realtors have the opportunity to receive FREE education to keep their real estate license with the state current.  The no-cost curriculum comes courtesy of Crye-Leike, REALTORS.  The company has rolled-out a once-a-month Continuing Education (CE) Credit Class that focuses on the basics of buying and selling real estate.

 

"Every agent needs these continuing education credits to keep their license in good standing," said Caroline Rich, Crye-Leike Recruiting Manager. "They hate to pay for them, especially now and it's awesome that they can attend one of our programs and receive the credit they need for free."
