MT. JULIET, TN., - Crye-Leike, REALTORS in Mt. Juliet extends a special thanks to the community for helping the office's blood drive be a great success.

 

With the community's help, Crye-Leike Realtors and employees with the company's Mt. Juliet branch office assisted The American Red Cross in collecting 31 units of blood during its recent drive held on Thursday, March 5th at 1285 North Mt. Juliet Road.

 

"It was a wonderful day and we are happy so many people turned out for the drive," said Blood Drive Coordinator and Crye-Leike Realtor Betty Robinson. "Our office staff and Realtors were extra busy greeting and registering the donors and they did a great job providing a good lunch for all the donors. It is nice to work with enthusiastic, community involved, generous people."

Bowling Green, KY., Inman News bills itself as the leading source of independent real estate information. It says 2009 could go down as the worst year ever for housing since the Great Depression. RealtyTrac says it's the nation's most trusted source of foreclosure information. It claims foreclosures rose 81-percent from 2007 to 2008, and tripled from 2006. And the Moody's Economy research firm Predicts foreclosures will go up another 18-percent this year.

 

In this uncertain economic climate, homeowners are just trying to keep the house they have, much less looking to buy a new one. And realtors are saying what they can to inspire people to buy.

CHATTANOOGA, TN., Crye-Leike, REALTORS announces the retirement of Chattanooga real estate legend and visionary Hugh Huffaker from the company.  A retirement reception and farewell party for Hugh was held, Wednesday, March 11, 2009 2:00pm - 3:30pm at the company's Downtown Chattanooga branch office located at 1201 Market Street.

MEMPHIS, TN., - Crye-Leike, REALTORS is pleased to announce Affiliate Broker Jimmie Tapley and her husband Broker Bob Tapley have been named to the 3rd annual Top 200 Real Estate Professionals in the country.  Their ranking, researched and compiled by REAL Trends, Inc. places the Tapley's at Number 26 on the Top 200 List among "Team Transactions."

The Wall Street Journal and REAL Trends, Inc. set out to identify the most successful real estate agents in the country for recognition through this annual project.

CHATTANOOGA, TN, - Crye-Leike, REALTORS is pleased to welcome Atlanta builder John Willis to Chattanooga on Tuesday, March 17, 2009.  The award winning Georgia developer is traveling to the city for meetings with local Realtors and homeowners in an effort to build better relations in the midst of the current challenging housing market.

 

John Willis is constructing new homes at "The Village at Greenway" in Chattanooga with sales support from Crye-Leike, REALTORS.  It's a development his Georgia firm "John Willis Homes" stepped-in to rescue after the original builder walked-off the project in early 2008.
