OOLTEWAH, TN., - Crye-Leike, REALTORS is pleased to announce its partnership with Hamilton County Schools in an effort to provide winter coats to children in need across the region.  The Coats For Kids Campaign is being lead by Crye-Leike Affiliate Broker Judie Morton who is based out of the company's Ooltewah, Tennessee branch office.

"Last winter I observed two little boys walking to a bus stop without coats," said Judie.  "The outside temperature was 23 degrees.  It just broke my heart that any child in our community would not have a coat to wear to school."

When Judie contacted the school system she was told by an official that out of the 40-thousand Hamilton County children enrolled in school, ten thousand need help with clothing so they can attend school.

"So last year we decided to ask Crye-Leike agents to donate a new or nearly new coat for these kids," said Judie.  "We had tremendous par...

"I signed up for the course, but was crushed when I was told I would not be able to take the real estate test because I didn't have a high school diploma."

When Pam's son was born in 1970, she had to take time off from school because at that time girls expecting a child could not be at school. Pam became busy raising a son and earning a living and never went back to finish school and get her diploma.

"Not having a high school diploma had never stopped me from doing anything or working anywhere I had ever wanted to," said Pam. "The urge to go to Real Estate Sc...

BARTLETT, TN., - Great Gourmet Chili And Decadent Desserts were the cornerstones behind a great year of fundraising for United Way of Shelby County by Crye-Leike, REALTORS in Bartlett, Tennessee.  The office sales team of agents and employees, located at 2868 Summer Oaks, cooked-up and baked-up fundraising events to generate more than $800.00 in donations.

"It feels amazing to realize that by celebrating our friendships and our love for great food we can put it to good use and help others less fortunate at the same time," said Stanley Echols, Campaign Chairman and Crye-leike Bartlett agent.  "We decided early on that with a little bit of work in the kitchen, almost everyone in the office could get involved, donate to United Way and make our 2008 campaign a success."
