MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Tennessee Real Estate Commission (TREC) recently announced that Don Cockroft Jr. of Crye-Leike, Realtors has received his broker's license after successfully passing the real estate broker licensure examination.

 

To become eligible for the examination, Cockroft met strict experience and education requirements as a broker candidate. Candidates must hold an active license as an affiliate broker for a minimum period of time, and must successfully complete 120 classroom hours of real estate education, 30 of which must be an office or brokerage management course at a TREC approved school.

 

A resident of Germantown, Cockroft is affiliated with the Quail Hollow branch office, located at 6525 Quail Hollow. NASHVILLE, TN.- Crye-Leike, Realtors announced today the conversion of its Cookeville, Tennessee franchise, Crye*Leike of the Upper Cumberland, to become a company-owned branch office.  The acquisition was prompted by the emerging growth in Putnam County and surrounding areas, reports Harold Crye, chief executive officer of Crye-Leike.

 

The Upper Cumberland Association of Realtors (UCAR) "Realtor of the Year," Evon Heady, has been named managing broker and branch manager.  She will be responsible for the recruitment and management of sales associates who specialize in residential, commercial, farm, land and auction real estate sales, serving the Upper Cumberland region of Putnam, Overton, Cumberland, Jackson, Dekalb, Fentress, Clay, Macon, Pickett, Smith and White counties.
