Nashville, Tenn. - Crye-Leike, Realtors announces that Kathy Weisberg and Jean McLaurine, both of Smyrna, have become affiliated with Crye-Leike's Smyrna branch office, located at 599 Sam Ridley Parkway West.

As an affiliate broker, Kathy Weisberg will serve the real estate needs of buyers and sellers in and around Rutherford County as well as within the surrounding counties of Wilson, Williamson and Davidson. She specializes in residential real estate.

Prior to joining Crye-Leike, Weisberg was in the airline technology industry for 17 years. She was most recently affiliated with American Airlines as senior account manager, based in Nashville.

Nashville, Tennessee - Penny Wade of Crye-Leike, Realtors has been named an accredited buyer representative (ABR) by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors.

This distinction is signified by the ABR designation, the benchmark of excellence in real estate buyer representation. Displaying her ABR designation demonstrates to clients that Wade has taken additional steps to continue her education in the field of buyer representation, and has the proven experience and training to deliver ethical and professional services to real estate buyers.

Among Crye-Leike's 2,850 sales force, Wade is among a select few who has achieved this distinction. There are over 300 Crye-Leike sales associates who hold the ABR designation, with over 1,512 active ABR members in Tennessee. Memphis, Tenn. - The weather may be cooling, but real estate sales are not for the nation's 10th largest real estate company. Tennessee-based Crye-Leike set another record-breaking quarter at $1.4 billion in sales, an increase of 25 percent over $1.1 billion this same period last year as disclosed in its third quarter sales report, announced company officials.

This volume was generated on the sale of 8,408 properties handled by Crye-Leike's 2,850 sales associates and reflects the sales activity of its 79 branch and franchise offices, located in 41 counties throughout a six-state southern region in Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi and Georgia.

The company's year-to-date sales volume grew to $3.6 billion, up 29 percent from

$2.8 billion through September 2003. Year-to-date closings were 22,828, up 22.2 percent from the 18,701 closings reported through September 2003.

Nashville, Tenn. - The 98-acre property in downtown Spring Hill that has remained undeveloped since 1986 is finally getting the attention it deserves.

Harold E. Crye, chief executive officer of Crye-Leike, Realtors, the nation's 10th largest real estate company, saw real estate opportunities in the town of Spring Hill and decided to be the catalyst in revitalizing this downtown area. He purchased Town Center, a 98-acre mixed-use development that surrounds Spring Hill City Hall, in November 2003.

His plan calls for "adding more roof tops so Spring Hill residents can call downtown ?home,'" says Crye.

Construction has begun on the development of 103 home sites on 33 acres of this 98-acre site, located adjacent to Spring Hill's City Hall. Contractors are in the process of installing the water and sewer lines for these home sites.

Diane Stem, a sales associate with the Hermitage office of Crye-Leike, Realtors, has been named the recipient of the Tennessee Association of Realtors 2004 Good Neighbor Award.

With this award, a $2,000 donation has been made to the charity to which she has devoted herself, the National Inhalant Prevention Coalition.

"I am both surprised and thrilled by this honor," she said. "Those working to increase awareness of the dangers of inhalant abuse need all the support we can offer."

Eight years ago, Stem lost her 16-year-old son to a killer she had then never heard of - inhalant abuse. Immediately after his death, she said she was determined to do all she could to prevent another family from losing a child in such a senseless way.

Two weeks after her son's funeral, Stem allowed a Nashville TV station to air a segment on her son's death. It was her first forum to warn others on a local level.
