Nashville, Tenn. - Jimmy Dugger, vice president of Crye-Leike, Realtors, was identified as one of 12 emerging Realtor leaders in the state of Tennessee to participate in Leadership TAR, a leadership training program sponsored by the Tennessee Association of Realtors(TAR).

The Tennessee Association of Realtors established the Leadership TAR Program to develop future leaders, essential for the growth of the association and the real estate profession. Leadership TAR is designed to sharpen leadership skills and to foster knowledge and networking skills among its participants to achieve success as a leader, whether in their community, personal business and/or within Realtor organizations

Memphis, Tenn. -  Realtors Kathy McMath and Nancy Guy of Crye-Leike, Realtors were recently elected to serve a three-year term as trustees of the Tennessee Real Estate Educational Foundation (TREEF), the educational arm of the Tennessee Association of Realtors and a national leader and innovator in instructor training for the real estate industry.

These two Memphians are serving as two of the newest trustees to one of the most successful and historic educational foundations in the real estate industry. As new trustees, they were nominated and elected for their devotion to quality education, their selfless concern for the betterment of their profession, and their concern for the educational needs of the entire state.

Dave Robertson was driving on Poplar near St. George's Episcopal Church in Germantown on Friday when he saw what looked like money blowing in the breeze.

Curious, the Crye-Leike Realtor from Collierville turned around, stopped in the turn lane and started to pluck $100 bills from the pavement.

"A lady stopped, grabbed some bills and said, 'Here, mister, here's your money,' " Robertson said.

Another motorist also stopped and helped gather what they thought was Robertson's money.

With bills stuffed in his pockets, an envelope with more bills, along with a deposit slip, Robertson drove off and parked his car.

"I looked at the deposit slip. It was for $6,100," he said. "As it ended up I had 61 $100 bills."

Founded by two unassuming home salesmen, Crye-Leike Realtors has matured into a regional real estate powerhouse with an aggressive growth strategy and a booming franchise business that has landed the company as the No. 10 largest residential brokerage firm in the nation.

Crye-Leike is ranked No. 28 on the Memphis Business Journal's Top 100 Private Companies list with $126.6 million in revenues in 2003. Crye-Leike was No. 33 on last year's list with 2002 revenues of $108.4 million.

Harold Crye and Dick Leike founded the company in 1977 in Memphis with "two people that sold houses," Crye says.

Memphis, Tenn. - One of Crye-Leike's own, Ronnie Raney, is organizing a benefit scramble golf tournament on Mon., June 28, 2004, for someone near and dear to his heart, his daughter, Lyn.

Lyn Raney Hardy, 41, needs a triple-organ transplant, consisting of heart, lungs and kidney. Diagnosed with congenital heart defect at the age of six weeks, Hardy has lived all her life with the limitations imposed on her body.

"Lyn has been a daughter every father hopes he has," said Raney who is vice president and corporate services director of Crye-Leike Relocation Services - West Tenn. Region. "Even now, as she faces this staggering hurdle, she meets it with the courage and faith that any of use could only hope we would have if it were one of us."
