Memphis, Tenn. - More than 600 senior citizens from Shelby, Fayette, Tipton and Lauderdale counties in Tennessee will be convening in Memphis, Tenn., April 27 - May 7, 2004, to compete in the 2004 Memphis District Senior Games - Senior Olympics. And, one of those participating athletes will be Crye-Leike's own, Barbara Tiedemann who is a resident of Cordova and holds her real estate license at Crye-Leike's Arlington branch office.
Barbara began competing in the Senior Olympics just last year. Her story is not about all the conditioning and training it took her to reach that point; but rather, about how she got into the mindset to compete at 54 years old.
Barbara's husband and she were new to the Memphis area, having moved 1.5 years ago because of her husband being transferred by Pepsi Americas from Albany, New York. A full-time affiliate broker for 15 years, she transferred her real estate license to Tennessee and became affiliated with Crye-Leike, Realtors....
Nashville, Tenn. - Crye-Leike, Realtors announces that one of its sales associates, Susan McKinney, has been awarded the certified residential specialist (CRS) designation by the Council of Residential Specialists, the largest not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Only 35,000 Realtors nationwide have earned this credential.
The CRS designation is a nationally recognized professional designation, the highest credential awarded to Realtors in the residential sales field.
To earn the CRS credential, McKinney demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate transactions and attained an advanced education in related areas with an emphasis in finance, technology and marketing. Nashville, Tenn. - Crye-Leike, Realtors, the largest real estate company in Tennessee and the Mid-South, displayed its corporate commitment to the communities it serves with a recent check presentation to Youth Villages for $28,500 from its 21st annual Campaign for Children, an annual Crye-Leike tradition since 1981 that has raised in excess of $391,000 company wide for Youth Villages.
Monies collected during Crye-Leike's Campaign for Children were used to purchase holiday gifts for the children of Youth Villages and to support its mentoring program throughout the year.
Crye-Leike's Campaign for Children is an in-house holiday fundraiser involving its 1,900 sales associates in Memphis and Nashville who purchase holiday greeting cards designed by Youth Villages' children for distribution to their clients and friends during the Christmas season.
