Memphis, Tenn. -  Tennessee-based Crye-Leike, the nation's 10th largest real estate company, reported a record breaking third quarter at $1.1 billion in sales, an increase of 26 percent over $878.58 million this same period last year, announced company officials.

This volume was generated on the sale of 7,295 properties handled by Crye-Leike's 2,800 sales associates and reflects the sales activity of its 68 branch and franchise offices, located in 36 counties throughout a six-state southern region in Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi and Georgia.

The company's year-to-date sales showed steady growth at $2.77 billion, up 17 percent from $2.37 billion through September 2002. Year-to-date closings were 18,704, up 12.8 percent from the 16,581 closings reported through September 2002.

Nashville, Tenn. -  Crye-Leike, Realtors announces that one of its sales associates, Cindy Perling, has been awarded the certified residential specialist (CRS) designation by the Council of Residential Specialists, the largest not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Only 35,000 Realtors nationwide have earned this credential.

The CRS designation is a nationally recognized professional designation, the highest credential awarded to Realtors in the residential sales field.

To earn the CRS credential, Perling demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate transactions and attained an advanced education in related areas with an emphasis in finance, technology and marketing. Nashville, Tenn. -  There's a new publication on the street. Crye-Leike, the nation's 10th largest real estate company, recently launched its new Buyer's Guide to Premier Homes, a monthly publication showcasing 90 of Crye-Leike's most prestigious residential properties for sale within Crye-Leike's four principal market areas: West Tennessee, Middle Tennessee, Southeastern Tennessee and Arkansas.

The guide features houses with an average sales price exceeding $650,000 and is being distributed monthly by direct mail to over 50,000 homeowners who reside in 49 zip code areas within West and Middle Tennessee. Recipients are principal residents over the age of 35 who currently own their homes and have a total household income equal to or greater than $150,000 per year. Another 25,000 distribution to Southeastern Tennessee and Arkansas is planned to be added in the first quarter of the new year.
