Memphis, Tenn. -  Crye-Leike, the 10th largest real estate company in the nation, recently recognized 265 sales associates and employees within its West, Middle and Southeast Tennessee Regions, including Arkansas and Mississippi, who reached their anniversary year of five, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service with Crye-Leike as of 2002.

Those 22 sales associates and employees of Crye-Leike's West Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi Regions who were recognized for their 15 years of service to the company were:

Nashville, Tenn. - Crye-Leike, Realtors, the nation's 10th largest real estate company, has named one of its own, multi-million dollar producer Gary Rabideau, as managing broker of its Mt. Juliet branch office, located at 1285 North Mt. Juliet Road.

He previously was a sales associate affiliated with Crye-Leike's Bartlett, Tenn. branch office in Shelby County and relocated to Mt. Juliet in Wilson County to accept this management position.

Rabideau is responsible for the recruitment and sales management of 57 sales associates who market residential and commercial real estate to buyers and sellers in Wilson County, including the surrounding counties of Davidson, Williamson, Sumner and Rutherford.

Rabideau brings to Crye-Leike over 20 years of sales and sales management experience when he worked at Arcadian Corporation selling fertilizers and industrial chemicals.

2002 was a mixed year for real estate companies included on Memphis Business Journal's Top 100 private companies list.

Low interest rates continued to fuel home sales, benefiting companies like Crye-Leike, while low demand for commercial and industrial space stymied development and lowered revenues at Weston Cos.

Weston Cos. had the biggest year-over-year change with its revenue reduced by three-fifths from $76.7 million to $46.5 million, falling on the list from number 49 to number 78.

Weston president and CEO David Peck says the drop was due to the market and hasn't raised alarm within the company.
